Light Newsletter The Lobster Tail cruise boat Wednesday
night was President The food was as elegant as the event, thank you to Cathy
Chiasson and Sue Cellucci from Walter’s office. They prepared hors
d’euvres, sandwiches, pasta salad (did you ever taste such a wonderful
dill pickle salad?), fruits and cheeses followed by a dessert parade that
never stopped. There was cheesecake, crème rolls, napoleons, and
chocolate cream puffs and every time you thought you were done eating,
another dessert came by. Sue Cellucci also created an impressive and
colorful program heralding the new officers— a good picture, President
Walter.

Walter’s speech was humorous, enthusiastic, humble and optimistic.
He’s focusing on getting new members. Being president a few years ago
made him grow in Rotary and he believes that with the help of all members,
2004 – 2005 will be a strong year. Here are his new officers:
Vice
President - Ben Summers Board Members Master of Ceremonies and newly appointed SSA Bill Coulter keep things moving along. Bart
Nuboer
All
participants of the evening received a special Rotary gift from Walter in
celebration of the night and Rotary’s 100th anniversary—a
gold key ring with the words “service above self.” Anyone who missed
the boat missed a first class evening---and we missed you: Bart, Roger
& Nancy, Carol &
Donn, Beatrice and Linda Borror. See
you again next week for Club Night at the Barker Tavern, back on dry land.
