Rev. Jackson has been involved with the Prison Fellowship in our state for over a year. She has been a Baptist minister for over 15 years. The U.S. leads the world in the number of prisoners. Organizations may adopt a child who is a prisoner through a church. The Fellowship operates Angel Tree Camp in Groton , MA during the summer. It costs $300 a week for a child prisoner. Rev. Jackson works and trains volunteers to visit children in prison from the Boston , Worcester and Springfield areas. She also covers Maine and New Hampshire , working with chaplains at Houses of Correction. The camp is funded through churches.

Beatrice Hurwitch, a deacon, would like to become a member of Rotary. If there are any objections, please inform the board of directors.
