Meeting Highlights:

February 12, 2003

Around the Chapter

Attendance at last week’s Club Night dinner: Janet, Bart, Ben (late), Sue Katz, Dietrich, Alden, Audrey (her last meeting?), Don, Joe, Paula, Walter, Judy, Sue Kav., Roger.

Happy/Sad Bucks: There were several but your editor arrived too late to record them. That goes for fines also. We gave Dietrich a buck for being late, of course. But he missed a couple of other bucks. And he won’t be at the Feb. 19th meeting to collect them! We were told that everyone had to pay a fine for missing the answer to the RI trivia question asked by President Janet!

Split onto three tables:  Seated at Table 1: Don, Dietrich, Judy & Walter. Seated at table 2: Alden, Janet, Joe, Paula and Sue Katz. Seated at Table 3: Audrey, Bart, Ben, Roger, Sue Kavanagh. Table 1 discussed the Christmas Tree (paper) fundraiser and the early start of mailings. Table 2 discussed Rotary participation in the St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 16th. Table 3 offered three suggestions for other fundraisers, two of which were selling flowers for Polio Eradication and before Memorial Day and before Valentine’s Day 2004.

Resignations: Received from Dave Dauphinee and Audrey (new job in Norwood.)
